At Pirinthian Portraits, clients can commission their own bespoke oil painting by simply sending us a photograph. Our artists will then hand paint a portrait to a clients specifications. The client chooses the style, either "realism" which closely resembles their photograph or "Impressionism" which portrays the overall visual effect in a less detailed subtle style.
Portraits were the original photograph 300 years ago, a way to capture a special memory, moment of happiness and love. Whether to commemorate a wedding, an anniversary, birth of a child or other family milestone, we are bringing back this timeless romance, once the preserve of nobility, now within reach of discerning clients.

Pirinthian Portraits was born due to the founder's love of art in all its forms, but especially photography, design, theatre and portraiture. With a true desire to help clients frame a moment of time, that is close to their heart, into a portrait to treasure forever and become an heirloom to the next generation.
We believe that a bespoke painting, just like a bespoke suit or a commissioned diamond ring is the epitome of style. However, we shouldn't forget, that to invest in a self portrait also requires a sense of humour, which we like to refer to as wit, it is wit that inoculates art from ostentation.
