We believe small decisions can have an impact on the world around us and so favour suppliers with similar views toward the environment. Parts of our business have low or zero emissions helping us offset other less carbon neutral aspects such as courier delivery by diesel van....we're looking into this!We recycle all waste material, turn off appliances when not in use and use products with the lowest environmental impact. We continually explore new ways to reduce the creation of waste and pollution.
Production
No harmful chemicals are used throughout the portrait creation process. Our artists use eco-friendly oil paints that are not petroleum-based, and therefore do not require solvents such as turpentine and paint thinners which emit fumes.

Packaging
We take great care with packaging, which currently does involve the use of cardboard, we are looking into using recycled cardboard in the future. Part of our stationary is on recycled paper, the remainder from sustainable forests.

We avoid and reduce emissions, however, there are emissions that cannot be avoided or reduced. To balance these we are looking into purchasing carbon offsets. Offsetting involves partially paying for a project that saves emissions equivalent to those we produce, helping us become carbon neutral.

Our website is hosted on a server (computer) in one of the most environmentally friendly and green datacenters in Europe that does not need to buy green credits to offset its carbon footprint due to its state of the art design.
