Inspired by Children

We came across the story of Dutch photographer, filmmaker & father of two, Frans Hofmeester. Frans filmed his newborn daughter every week from the day she was born all the way until she celebrated her 14th birthday.

Frans wanted to document the way his daughter was changing and growing. Initially the idea would only last a short time, but as time passed, he decided not to stop. We found his 4 minute film showing his daughter’s past 14 years, touching, romantic and in tune with our philosophy of preserving a precious moment in time. It’s amazing to see someones life in such a short film and facinating to see how a baby evolves into a child, then teenager. It makes you realise how quickly life passes us by and to treasure and capture every moment.
